The first pool is 25 yards long and has six lanes, while the second is for recreation and has a two-story slide, a lazy river, and spray features. The Aspen Recreation Center also houses the Lewis Ice Arena. The arena, which opened in the spring of 2003, has an NHL regulation size skating surface, 450 grandstand seats, a skate shop, locker rooms, and shower rooms. Skating lessons, figure skating, youth and adult hockey, and skating shows are all available. Private parties can also be held at the arena. High altitude training is also available.
The center also has cardio and weight rooms, as well as a variety of fitness classes.
